Korn and Christianity... ain't it great?

So "Head" from Korn quit the band and became a Jesus Krispie.
I've got no problem with folks finding religion, but methinks Head might be a little bit on the crazy side. First off, he told MTV he was deep into meth before he found the Lord. Then he went to Israel to be baptized in the Jordan. Now he says God is speaking through him to 50 Cent. That's right, 50 Cent the gangsta rapper.

Let's go over this again: the third- or fourth-most recognizable guy in Korn believes that God is telling him to save 50 Cent.

Wouldn't the Lord use someone a little closer to 50, like Dre or Eminem or the Game? (Heck, maybe God tried the Game first, and that's why 50 and Game are feuding now).

Pardon me for being cynical, but I might have taken this with a straight face had it happened in 1999, when Korn were actually popular. Instead, they made three straight albums that are rumored to be basically John Davis solo projects (you know, the guy with the dreadlocks that plays bagpipes and whines about being molested all the time), while the bass player made a rap album (why isn't he talking to 50?). And now Head's been on MTV News six times in the last two weeks, which is six more than he was on for the three years before that.

In other rap/rock news, Limp Bizkit are back with the weird guitarist (yay), and Static-X's guitarist is apparently a kid-toucher. Creepy.
